villira 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2300-98 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled <br /> "1998 Everett Preservation Projects", Fund 303, Program 035, to <br /> accumulate all construction costs for the improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned City-wide overlay program in <br /> conjunction with a pavement management system to effectively preserve the City street system; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of Federal funds for <br /> eleven street preservation projects on Federal-aid streets in the City of Everett; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 035, entitled "1998 <br /> Everett Preservation Projects"to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 035, for construction of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction <br /> of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $637,991.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 035, "1998 Everett <br /> Preservation Projects" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Construction $ 637,991 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 637,991 <br />
