AMENDMENT NO. 1 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN TIIE CITY OF EVERETT AND TREVOR JUSTIN GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, LLC EVERETT This Amendment No. 1 is dated for reference purposes May 1, 2023 It is by and between the City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Washington ("City") and Trevor Justin Government Relations, LLC ("Service Provider"). RECITALS A. The City and Service Provider are parties to the Professional Services Agreement dated December 1, 2022 (the "Agreement"), B. The City and the Service Provider desire to amend the Agreement for the purpose of adding services for the 2023 Special Session and adding services for 2024 Session. AGREEMENT The City and Service Provider agree as follows: 1. The Agre ment is modified so that time of beginning and completion are as follows: Time of Beginning and Completion of Performances This Agreement shall commence as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by May 31, 2024. 2. The Agreement is modified so that total compensation, including all services and expenses, shall not exceed $83,250, which is the sum of: (a) $38,500 (including $1000 for eligible expenses) for the 2023 Session (December 1 2022-May 31, 2023); (b) $6,250 for 2023 Special Session (June 2023), and (c) $38,500 (including $1000 for eligible expenses) for the 2024 Session (October 1, 2023-May 31, 2024). (There is no compensation for July 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023 ) 3. The Scope of Work is unchanged. The "City of Everett Scope of Services" document is attached to this Amendment for reference. 4. Regardless of the date(s) on which this Amendment is signed by the parties, and regardless of any Agreement completion date(s) that may have been in the Agreement prior to this Amendment, the parties agree that the Agreement has been continuously in effect since December 1, 2023.
