•z ORDINANCE NO. 2302-98 An ordinance establishing special connection charges and monthly sewer service rates for sewer customers connected to Olympus Terrace Sewer District Facilities WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett finds costs of sewer service to the customers in the area covered by a sewer agreement with Olympus Terrace Sewer District area, as shown in the map attached hereto as Exhibit A and as legally described in Exhibit B hereto, may be substantially reduced by connection of local sewer collection facilities therein to transmission and treatment facilities of the Olympus Terrace Sewer District; and WHEREAS, on April 29, 1998, the City Council of the City of Everett authorized execution of a Sewer Service Agreement between City of Everett and Olympus Terrace Sewer District; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to implement said agreement by ordinance assessing the rates and charges established therein. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: 1. Special Sewer Service Area A special sewer service area, to be known hereafter as the "Olympus Terrace Service Area," is hereby established within the area as legally described in Exhibit B hereto incorporated herein by references and as shown on the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A. 2. Connection Charges a) In addition to current sewer connection permit and inspection fees, as established by the City of Everett, owners of property within the Olympus Terrace Service Area whose properties connect to public sewer facilities within said area shall pay special sewer connection charges as follows: 1) Area charge in lieu of assessment based on the Olympus Terrace Sewer District current rates ($2871.72 per acre as of October 1997, plus a $3.88 per acre per month increase). 2) Connection charges per current connection charge rate schedule of Olympus Terrace Sewer District. b) Permit and inspection fees for connection to public sewer facilities shall be in accordance with the City of Everett's current fees therefor. All other City of Everett sewer connection fees, as established by Ordinance No. 1998-94, shall be waived. CSTAGORD OLYMPUS(YJ 5/6/98)
