<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7964 <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION of the City of Everett fixing a date and time to hear and determine the petition <br />for the proposed vacation of Larch, Hemlock, and Fir Streets lying south of 12th Street and north <br />of 14th Street in the plat of Baker Heights. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting the following streets have signed a <br />petition for the vacation thereof: <br /> <br />LARCH, HEMLOCK, AND FIR STREETS LYING SOUTH OF 12TH STREET AND NORTH OF 14TH STREET <br />IN THE PLAT OF BAKER HEIGHTS <br /> <br />These streets are legally described as follows: <br /> <br />THAT PORTION OF LARCH STREET, HEMLOCK STREET, AND FIR STREET ACCORDING TO THE PLAT <br />OF BAKER HEIGHTS, RECORDED IN VOLUME 14 OF PLATS, PAGE 111, RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH <br />COUNTY, WASHINGTON, LYING SOUTHERLY OF 12TH STREET AND NORTHERLY OF 14TH STREET. <br />CONTAINING 112,587 SQ FT MORE OR LESS <br /> <br />B. The petition has been filed with the City Clerk. RCW 35.79.010 provides that the City Council <br />shall, by resolution, fix a time for public hearing on the petition. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. A public hearing be set for February 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 3002 <br />Wetmore Avenue, to hear and determine the petition for the vacation of the streets described <br />above. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day of December, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council President
