a ORDINANOB, NO. 2401 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Kromer Avenue, from 33rd to 35th street, by grading and installa- tion of curbs on both sides of Kromer and construction of sidewalk on the east side of Kromer Avenue, also slagging Kromer Avenue 10 feet wide in the center,making necessary water main changes and doing all_ other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, cre- ating a local improvement district fund therefor, and pro- viding that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, repealing Ordinance io. 2390 and declar- ing an emergency. WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, petitioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of 2ublio Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of forks has filed with the City Council all data and information, as rewired by law; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of rublic .'forks has recom- mended to the City council that said improvement petitioned for be made , and it appearing to the City Council that public con- k venience and necessity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Kromer Avenue, from 33rd to 35th Streets, be improved by grading and installation of curbs on both sides of Cromer, and construction of sidewalk on the east side of Kromer Avenue, also slagging romer Avenue 10 feet wide in the center, making necessary water main changes, and doing all
