r?'47—r ORDINANCE NO. 2339-98 An ORDINANCE establishing special connection charges for sewer customers connected to Mukilteo Water District Facilities WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett finds costs of sewer service to the 18th Avenue West area south of the Walter E. Hall Golf Course, as legally described in Exhibit B and as shown in Exhibit A hereto, may be substantially reduced by connection of local sewer collection facilities therein to transmission facilities of the Mukilteo Water District; and WHEREAS, on September 23, 1998 , the City Council of the City of Everett authorized execution of a Sewer Service Agreement between City of Everett and Mukilteo Water District, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to implement said agreement by ordinance assessing the rates and charges established therein. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: 1. Special Sewer Service Area A special sewer service area, to be known hereafter as the "Mukilteo Water District Sewer Service Area", is hereby established within the area as legally described in Exhibit B hereto incorporated herein by references and as shown on the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A. 2. Connection Charges In addition to current sewer connection permit and inspection fees and other special connection charges, as established by the City of Everett, owners of property within the Mukilteo Water District Sewer Service Area whose properties connect to public sewer facilities within said area, shall pay an additional special sewer connection charge of$246.40 per residential unit, or equivalent.
