<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4002-24 <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled “Edgewater Creek Bridge <br />Replacement” Fund 303, Program 115 and REPEALING Ordinance No. 3719-19 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City of Everett is committed to replacing structurally deficient and functionally obsolete <br />bridge infrastructure. <br /> <br />B. The bridge over Edgewater Creek requires complete replacement. <br /> <br />C. The City of Everett has identified the need and obtained Federal funds to remove and replace the <br />existing structure. <br /> <br />D. Ordinance No. 3719-19 obligated funds for the design and construction and there is now the need <br />to program additional Federal grant funding. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 3719-19 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 115, entitled <br />“Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement” to accumulate all costs for the improvement. Authorization is <br />hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments for the improvement project. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization is hereby granted for the “Public Works Director” or “City Engineer” under <br />direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br />things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $34,000,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 115, “Edgewater <br />Creek Bridge Replacement” as follows: <br /> <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs $34,000,000 <br /> <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> Bridge Program – Federal Funds BRM-2776(009) $25,000,000
