An Ordinance amending Section 36 of Ordinance No. 1749 entitled as follows: "An Ordinance providing for the organization of the Wa- ter Department of Everett, providing rules and regulations for the control of said Water Department, fixing, regulat- ing and controlling the use and price of water supplied by said Everett, repealing Ordinance No. 1739 and all other or- dinances in conflict with any of the provisions hereof, and declaring an emergency." said amendment relating to a reduction of water rates in the Water Department. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 36 of Ordinance No. 1749 relative to water rates in the Water Department be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit: Section 36: FLAT WATER RATES.--Monthly water rates where meters are not in use, shall be as follows: 1. BAKERY *Using not more than 1 barrel flour daily 1.40 Each additional barrel .50 Each person in excess of 5 .10 2. BANKS - Not more than 5 persons 1.40 Each additional person .10 3.
