40 ORDINANCE NO. d8 ,0 V (O An Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 448, for the improvement of Chestnut Street, 24th Street to Tverett Avenue, by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, construction of concrete curbs, construction of one course 6-inch Portland cement concrete pavement 24feet wide, install- ation of necessary drainage, making necessary water main chang- es and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement under Ordinance No. 2272 of the Oity of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof a- gainst the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor and fixing the date of the issuance thereof. THE CITY OF EVERE T DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 448 for the improvement of Chest- nut Street, 24th Street to averett Avenue, by grading to pro- per grade, removal of old lumber, construction of concrete curbs, construction of one course 6-inch Portland cement concrete pavement 24 feet wide, installation of necessary drainage, mak- ing' necessary water main changes and doing all other wo4 neces- sary- in connection therewith to make a complete improvement un- der Ordinance No. 2272 of the City of Everett as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefitted by said improvement in at least the am- ount charged against the same, and that the assessment appear- ing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments_ appearing upon said roll and there is hereby levied an assess-
