41 <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2'; ? <br /> An Ordinance amending Section 1. of Ordinance No. 2270, <br /> said Ordinance No. 2270 being <br /> "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of State Street, <br /> from Everett Avenue to 24th Street, by installation of neces- <br /> sary drainage, making necessary water system changes, and slag- <br /> ging; also 26th Street, by removal of the present concrete walk, <br /> grading for and construction of a 6-foot concrete walk, also by <br /> repairing the sidewalk in the 26th Street block where same is in <br /> dangerous condition, and doing all other work on the entire dis- <br /> trict necessary to make a complete improvement, all in accord- <br /> ance with Resolution No. 3251 of the city of Everett ; creating <br /> an assessment district; creating a Local Improvement District <br /> Fund therefor, providing that said improvement be made L:y special <br /> assessment upon the property in said district under the mode of <br /> payment by bonds." <br /> by providing for the construction of concrete curbs and gutters <br /> in compliance with the provisions of Resolution No. 3251, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> The CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section li That State Street,from 24th to Everett Avenue, <br /> be improved by the removal of old lumber, grading for and con- <br /> struction aF concrete curbs and gutters, installation of neces- <br /> sary drainage, making necessary water main changes, and slag- <br /> ging; also that State Street, from 24th Street to 26th Street, <br /> be improved by the removal of the present concrete walk, grad- <br /> ing for and construction of a 6-foot concrete walk, also by re- <br /> pairing the sidewalk in the 26th Street block where same is in <br /> dangerous condition, and doing all other work on the entire dis- <br /> trict necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the <br /> plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City <br /> Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2: An emergency is hereby declared to exist and <br /> immediately <br /> this ordinance shall take effect/upon its passage and publica- <br /> tion. <br /> Passed lc Mayor. <br /> Attest City Clerk <br /> Publis ed: Otto er 21 , W <br />
