1 a I) a 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2278 An Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 435 for the im- provement of Rainier Avenue from 16th to 24th Streets by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, construction of a 6-inch Portland cement concrete pavement 27 feet wide, construction of concrete curbs, installation of necessary drainage, making necess- ary water main changes and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, under Ordinance No. 2226 of the City of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof against the sev- eral lots , tracts and parcels of land, as shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor and fixing the date of the issuance thereof. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 435, for the improvement of Rainier Avenue from 16th to 24th Streets, by grading to proper grade, re- moval of old lumber, construction of a 6-inch Portland cement con- ,IP& „ crete pavement 27 feet wide, construction of concrete curbs, in- stallation of necessary drainage, making necessary water main changes 4s ir and doing all other work necessary to make a c anpiete improvement under Ordinance No. 2226, as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each -1-
