District under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, peti- tioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the %. Commissioner of P blic Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth i said petition to be true; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law; and WHEREAS, said. Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public convenbnce and necessity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the alley between Walnut and. Chestnut Avenues, from 15th Street to 16th Street, be improved by the in- stallation of a sewer and its necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
