411 ORDINANCE NO. 2272 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Chestnut Street, 24th Street to Everett Avenue, by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, construction of concrete curbs, construction of one course 6-inch Portland cement concrete pve- ment 24 feet wide, installation of necessary drainage, making necessary water main changes, and doing all other work on the en- tire district necessary to make a complete Improvement , all in accordance with Resolution No. 3254 of the City of Everett; creat- ing an assessment district; creating a Local Improvement Dis- trict fund therefor, providing that said improvement be made by special assessment upon the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3254 of the City of Everett, the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improvement as above outlined and doing all other work ne- cessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EIERT:TT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Chestnut Street, from 24th Street to Ev- erett Avenue, be improved by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, construction of concrete curbs, construction of one course 6-inch Portland cement concrete pavement 24 feet wide, in- stallation of necessary drainage, making necessary water main changes and doing all other work on the entire district necessary to make a complete improvement according to the plans and spec- ifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
