<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4018-24 <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Senator Henry M. Jackson Park <br />Lighting Improvement Project”, Fund 354, Program 099 to accumulate all costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as part of the City <br />of Everett Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the need to improve and repair the lighting within Senator Henry M. <br />Jackson Park, to include both the upper and lower parking lots, park amenities, and pathways. <br /> <br />C. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain park infrastructure. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled, “Senator Henry M. Jackson Park <br />Lighting Improvement Project”, Fund 354, Program 099. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of the project is $150,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $150,000 is hereby appropriated to “Senator Henry M. Jackson Park Lighting <br />Improvement Project”, Fund 354, Program 099. <br /> <br />A. Use of Funds <br />Park Improvements and Associated Costs $150,000 <br />Total $150,000 <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />CIP 3 $150,000 <br />Total $150,000 <br /> <br />C. The appropriation shall not lapse but shall be carried forward from year to year until <br />fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the <br />necessity of reappropriation.
