ORDINANCE NO. 2232 An Ordinance amending Sections one (1) and two (2) of Ordinance No. 1749 by providing for the re-transfer to the Water Department of the Auditing and Accounting Division of said Water Department fio m the Department of Finance; by providing for the establishment of the of- fices of cashier and assistant cashier in the y+ater Department and re-enacting Section 25 of said Ordinance No. 1749 heretofore rep: aled by Ordinance No. 2131 relating to bonds of said cashier arl.d assistant cashier and repealing Ordinance No. 2131, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance ] o. 1749 b and the same am is hereby by amended to read as follows: Section 1: There is hereby created in the Department of Pub- lic Works of the city of Everett a sub-department to be known as the Water Department. Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1749 b and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2: There shall be in said Water Departmen the 2) 1- lowing officers and employees: One superintendent, one foreman of construction and maintenance, one cashier, one assistant cashier, one blacksmith, one pipe fitter, two inspectors, one pump operator, one time and storekeeper, and so many "laborers as may be necessary. Additional pipe fitters, inspectors, pump operators, and timekeep - ers may be appointed temporarily, as needed. Section 3: That there is hereby re-enacted Section 25 of Or- dinance No. 1749, which section Was heretofore repealed by Ordinance No. 2139, which section shallread as follows: Section 25: BONDS.--The cashier of said Ater Department shall furnish a bond conditioned as the bonds of other officers nd employees of the city of Everett, in the sum of twenty-five hundred olists
