• • . • <br /> ` • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2226 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Rainier <br /> Ave., from 16th to 24th Streets, by grading to proper grade, removal <br /> of old lumber, construction of a 6" Portland cement concrete pave- <br /> ment 271 wide, construction of concrete curbs, instal ration of neces- <br /> sary drainage, making necessary water main changes an doing all <br /> other work necessary to make a complete improvement, I n acco rd <br /> ance with Resolution No. 3182 of the city of Everett; reating an <br /> assessment district; creating a Local Improvement Dist ict Fund <br /> therefor, providing that said improvement be made by s ecial- as- <br /> sessment upon the property in said district under the ode of pay- <br /> ment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3182 of the City of Brett, the <br /> City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the <br /> improvement as above outlined and doing all other work necessffi y in <br /> connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance <br /> with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1, That Rainier Avenue, from 16th to 24th Streets <br /> be improved by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, con- <br /> struction of a 6" Portland cement concrete pavement 27 wide, c on- <br /> struction of concrete curbs, installation of necessary drainage, <br /> making necessary water main changes and doing all othet� v rk re ces- <br /> sary to make a complete improvement according to the plans and <br /> specifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, <br /> which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and epproved. <br /> Section 2. That the cost and expense of such iaprov emeit <br /> including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and <br /> assessed against the property included in the assessment district <br /> herein created in accordance with law.
