Al,• • i ORDINANCE NO. 2225 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Block 15, Central Park Addition to the city of Everett by the installation of 6-inch water mains and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Zund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said District under the mode of payment by bonds. JHREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, pe- titioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of ''public iorks and said commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and H= REAS, said Commissioner of Public forks has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law; an WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public : orks has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience a: d necessity requires such improvement to be mane; now, therefore; THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Block 15, Central Park Addition to the City of verett, be improved by the installation of 6-inch water mains and doing all Other work necessary to make a complete improve- ment, according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City . .ngineer, which plans and specifications ,are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2. That the cost and expense of such improvement , including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expen- ses of such improvement, except as provided in chapter 141, session
