ORDINANCE NO. 2206. An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Maple Avenue from llth Street to 15th Street by the installation of a 2 inch water main and its necessary appurtenances and doing all other xork necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund therefor and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special as- sessment on the property in said. District under the mode of payment by bonds. Whereas, a majority petition of the property owners, peti- tioning for said improvement,has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public iorks and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and Whereas, said Commissioner of Public 'o" orks has filed with to e City Council all data and information as required b; law; and Whereas, said Commissioner of Public =forks has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City council that public convenience and necessity require such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 44 That Maple Avenue from llth Street to 15th Street be improved by the installation of a 2 inch water main and its necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to plans and specifications pre- pared under the direction of the City --ngineer, which plans and spec- ifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement including all necessary incidental expense, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of -Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion 2 f the costs and ex- penses of such improvement .
