ORDINANCE NO 2200 . <br /> An ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No.1732 of the. <br /> City of Everett, entitled: <br /> " An Ordinance providing for the acquisition <br /> - by condemnation of water rights in the Sultan river <br /> and its tributaries, and of land for a pipe-line <br /> from said Sultan river to Everett, directing the <br /> city attorney to institute condemnation proceedings <br /> for the -purpose of acquiring said land and water <br /> rights and declaring an emergency ." <br /> the said Section 4 relating to the fund from wbich the cost are. <br /> expense of acquiring lands and water and water rights by purchlse <br /> or condemnation shall be paid and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> Section 1 : That section 4 of Ordinance No.1732 be and the <br /> same is hereby amended to read as follows,to-wit: <br /> "Section 4 : The cost and expense of acquiring said lands <br /> and water and water rights shall be paid. wholly from the <br /> " Everett ':rater System 3und " . <br /> Section 2 : An emergency is declared to exist and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> o r <br /> s <br /> Passed: April 21, 1925 <br /> Attest: -•F- " <br /> City lerk <br /> Published: April 22, 1925 <br />
