ORDINANCE NO An Ordinance providing for the creating of the " Fire Station Construction Fund ", the transfer thereto of the surplus of funds in the 1924 Budget over and above the amount necessary to pay all expenditures under the 1924 budget, together with the uncollected taxes for the year 1923 of the general current expense fund and appropriating the said moneys for the purpose of the construction of two fire stations in the City of Everett and providing an emergency. ' hereas, there exists a surplus in the 1924 budget, which together with the uncollected taxes for the year 1923 for general current expenses, approximates c47,000.00 , and, Whereas, it is deemed advisable to use the funds above mentioned for the purpose of constructing two fire stations, authorized at en election held on December, 6,192 now therefore. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That there be and hereby is created a special fund to be known as " Fire Station Construction Fund ". Section 2 : That into said " Fire Station Construction Fund " shall be paid the surplus of all moneys over and above the amount sufficient to meet all expenditures under the 1924 budget and also df the uncollected taxes for the year 1923, levied for the general current expense fund; the said taxes to be paid into the " Fire Station Construction Fund " from time to time as the same are received from the County Treasurer and the surplus of the 1924 budget to be paid into said " Fire Station Construction Fund " on the 21st day of January, 1925. Section 3 : That the surplus over and above the amounts necessary to meet all expenditures under the 1924 budget and the uncollected taxes for the year 1923, levied on account of the general current expense fund be and they are hereby transferred to the " Fire Station Construction Fund. " and appropriated to said fire station Construction Fund.
