ORDINANCE NO 2183 • An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the north and south alley in Block 683, by grading for and construc- tion of a six inch concrete pavement from the south line of lot 7 to Wall Street . , also by construction of necessary bulkheads, installation of necessary drainage and doing all other woAt necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district , creating a Local Improvement District fund therefor and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, Whereas, a majority petition of the property owners petitinning for said improvement , has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of public `.Yorks and said Commissoner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, Whereas , said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law, and, Whereas , said Commissioner bf Public :hi orks has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, . and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, now therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That the north and south alley in Block 683 be improved by grading for and construction of a six inch concrete pavement from the south line of lot 7 to wall St . also by const . of necessary bulkheads, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith :to make
