ORDINANCE NO 2181 . An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley between 25th and 26th Streets and Rucker and Grand Avenues, by rading to proper grade, and construction of a 5 inch concrete pavement, 18 feet wide, installation of necessary drainage and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a oomplete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund therefor and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, Whereas, a majority petition of the property owners petitioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, Whereas,, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law, and, Whereas, said. Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the: City Council that public gonvenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, now therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That the alley between 25th and 26th Streets and Rucker and Grand Avenues be improved by grading to p oiler trade, and construction of a 5 inch concrete pavement, 18 feet wide, installation of necessary drainage and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and aboroved.
