ORDINANCE NO 2147- An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 9th Street from East Grand Ave, to maple Street; Maple Street from 9th to llth Street ; and llth Street from 10.ple Street to East Grand Avenue , by construction of a two inch water main and its necessary appurtenances, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund therefor, and provid- ing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said District under the mode of payment by bonds, Whereas , a majority petition of the property owners, petitioning for said improvement , has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of public Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law, and, Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made., and it a Spearing to the City Council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, now therefor. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That 9th street from East Grand livenue to maple Street ; maple Street from 9th Street to llth street ; and llth Street from Maple Street to East Grand :venue, be improved by the construction of a two inch water main and its necessary appurtenances and doin ,' ell other work necessary to make a complete improvement , according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifica- tions are hereby adopted and approved. -1-
