ORDINANCE NO . 2124- <br /> An Ordinance vacating the East and. West alley and a part <br /> of the North and South alley in Block 798,Everett hand Company's <br /> First Addition to Everett, <br /> Whereas, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private <br /> 1 property abutting upon the alleys hereinafter described in the City <br /> 2 of Everett, duly filed a petition with the City Council of the City <br /> 3 of Everett, praying for the vacation of said alleys, and, <br /> 4 <br /> Whereas, said City Council of said city did,by Resolution <br /> 5 duly adopted, fix June 25th, 1923 , at the hour of 10:30 <br /> 6 o 'clock A.M. Of said day for the hearing and determination of said <br /> 7 petition, and, <br /> 8 Whereas, due and legal notice of the time and place of <br /> 9 the hearing and determination of said petition has been duly given <br /> 16 as required by law, and, <br /> 11 Whereas, at the time and place fixed for said hearing no <br /> 12 person appeared and no objections of any kind were made to the grant <br /> 13 <br /> ing of said petition, and, <br /> 1 ''hhereas, it appearing to the City Council that said petition <br /> 15 ' should be granted and said City Council does hereby determine to <br /> 16 ' <br /> vacate said alley, now therefore, <br /> 17 TEE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> 18 <br /> Section 1 : That the East and West al y in Block 798, <br /> 19 Everett Land Company's First Addition to Everett , betweeni,Mpth Smith <br /> 20 Avenue and 2aine Avenue , lying south of lots 22 to 28 inclusive and <br /> 21 also that portion of the North and South alley in Block 798 lying <br /> 22 West of lot 21, be and the same are hereby vacated and the title <br /> 23 to the lands in said alleys above described is hereby declared to <br /> 24 vest in the abutting property owners as provided by law. <br /> 25 <br /> Mayor <br /> or <br /> 26 <br /> 27 passed: F- l 4 <br /> pow- ammiromor <br /> 28 Attest : .► <br /> y er, <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Published:r'eb. 28th, 1924 <br /> 31 <br />
