•� r, ` I'• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2123 . <br /> An Ordinance relating to the granting of licenses <br /> and also to the revocation of licenses to conduct , operate or <br /> manage card rooms, pool or billiard halls and places for the <br /> sale of soft drinks and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> Section 1 : That the license of any person, firm <br /> or corporation to conduct, operate or manage a card room, pool <br /> or billiard hall or place for the sale of soft drinks, within <br /> the limits of the City of Everett, granted under any of the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No .1932 as amended, or as it may here- <br /> after be amended, shall be immediately cancelled and revoked, <br /> when any such person, firm or corporation shall have been <br /> convicted in the Police Court of the City of Everett under <br /> any of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1599 of the Cit.j of <br /> Everett relative to disorderly conduct or Ordinance No.1852 <br /> relative to intoxicating liquor or Ordinance No .1161 relative <br /> to allowing minors to loiter or play in pool or billiard halls <br /> or when any such person, firm or corporation shall have been <br /> convicted in any of the courts of the State of Washington under <br /> the provisions of the laws of the State of Washington relating <br /> to prostitution, gambling or the manufacturing, possession, sale, <br /> barter, exchange , giving away, furnishing or otherwise disposing <br /> of or keeping intoxicating liquor. <br /> Section 2 : No license shall be granted to conduct, <br /> operate or manage any of the businesses or for any of the <br /> purposes mentioned in Ordinance No .1932 to any person, firm or <br /> • corporation, nor to the agent of any person, firm or corporation <br /> that has been convicted in the Police Court of the City of Everett <br />
