r"""mdw !may QRDINAIT CE NO, An Ordinance providing for emergency expenditures, the issuance of emergency warrants therefor and declaring an 1 emergency, 2 Whereas, a public emergency, other than those 3 specifically described in Section 6, Chapter 164, Laws of 1923 4 and which said emergency could not reasonably have been forseen st 5 the time of making the budget for the year 1923 required the 6 expenditure of money not provided for in said budget, the estimated 7 amount of money required to meet said emergency being the sum of 8 Five Hundred and Fifty ( 550.00) Dollars, now therefore, I i 9 THE` CITY OF SETT DOES QRDAIN : 10 Section 1 : That a public emergency exists which could i 11 not reasonably have been forseen at the time of making the budget 12 for the year 1923 and which emergency requires an expenditure 13 ! in the estimated sum of $550.04, over and above the amount 14 ! provided for in said budget of 1923 and which estimated sum of 15 $550.00 is required for the construction of a concrete bulkhead 16 in the alley in Block 718, Plat of Everett for the reason that 17 said alley is at this time a danger and menace to the public and i8 for the further reason that it is not feasible to close the 19 alley or to further attempt to improve the same on the Local 20 Improvement District plan, The said improvement being more parti 21 cularly described as follows, to.wit: 22 The improvement of Alley in Block 718, Plat of Everett, 23 from the south line of Wall Street to the north line of lot 7,by 24 grading for and construction of a concrete bulkhead, on the north 25 and south center line of said alley; construction of a wooden 26 Yard rail, installation of necessary drainage end doing all 27 other work necessary to make a complete improvement. 28 29 30 31
