An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Kromer Avenue from 33rd Street to 34th Street by clearing, grubbing and grading to temporary grade, creating an assessment district , 1 1creating a Local Improvement District lund therefor and providing 2 that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment 3 on the property in said district under the mode of payment by 4 bonds, 5I Jhereas, a majority petition of the property owners 6 petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with 7 the Cgmnissioner of Public W orks and said Commissioner has 8 found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, 91 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed 10 with the City Council all data and information as required by 11 law, and, 12 `:'hereas, said Commissioner of Public forks has 13 recomm nded to the City Council that said improvement petitioned 141 for be made and it appearing to the City Council that public 15 1 convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, 16 now therefore, 17 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES CRDAI1' : 18 Section 1 : That Kromer Avenue from 33rd Street to 19 34th Street be improved by clearing, grubbing and grading to 20 1 temporary grade according to the plans and specifications 21 1 prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans 221 and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. 23 Section 2 : That the cost and expense of such improve- 24 ment, including all necessary incidental expenses shall be borne 25 by and assessed against the property included in the assessment 26 district herein created in accordance with law.
