• ORDINIVICE MO. 1.2 An Ordinance providing for the issuance of twenty.. year park bonds of the City of :Everett in the sum of S50,000.00 ' in accordancet with the preposition submitted by prdinance ITo .1877 to the voters of said 17verett at a general election held therein on 2 'tov Tier, 4th,191 9, and adopted by said voters at said el ection, 3 providing for the form and tenor of said bonds, the date thereof 4 and payment of principal and interest thereon, establishing a fund 5 for the payment of said principal and interest, ratifying and confirming the sale of said bonds to Carstens and arles, Incorpo.- 7 rated and John .Ti. Price & Company, and. repealing Ordinance No.1889, 8 Iihereas, at a general election held in the City 9 of _Everett, State of Washington, on Noverib er, 4th,1919, a propo sition 10 was submitted to the voters thereof by Ordinance 1To .1877, and more 11 than three-fifths of the qualified electors of said city voting 12 thereat, voted in favor of the said proposition 0f issuing$50,000 .00 13 in park bonds of the City of 7.zverett, bearing interest at a rate not 14 to exceed six ( 6) per cant per 2„nnuL and payable in twenty years 15 after their date of issue, now therefore, 16 THE CITY O1' _4};TE .?.e.e DOES ORDAIN 17 Section 1 : That the Mayor and City Clerk of the 18 City of Everet t be and they hereby are authorized and directed. 19 to issue park bonds in the sum of ` 50 ,000 .00 , bearing interest at 20 the rate of five and one-half ( 5*) per cent per annum, payable, semi 21 annually, evidenced by interest coupons, sai d bonds to be of the 22 denomination of °l,000 .00 each andto be numbered consecurively from 50Jarue.ry* 7 :nth , l02^a and all of 23 � 1 to inclusive , to be dated ' 24 Raid bonds to be payable January a t , both principal 25 and interest of said bonds to be payable at the Fi sc, l Agency of the 26 '' State of Washington, in the City and State of New York, and to be 27 payable from the proceeds of a di rect tax to b e levied annually 28 upon the taxable property of said city, within the limits of said 29 30 31 -1 �.
