ORDINANCE NO. II 1 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 2 :::esker Avenue, from l5'th St . to 16th St . by clearing, grubbing, 3 gre,,ding, changing water mains, construction of 5 ft . concrete 4 walks and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith 5 to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, 6 creating a Local Improvement District fund therefor, and pro- 7 viding that payment for said improvement be made by special 8 assessment on the property in said "District under the mode of 9 payment by bonds, 10 Whereas, a majority petition of the property 11 owners,. petitioning for -said improvement, has heretofore been 12 filed with the Commissioner of public Works and said Commissioner 13 has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, 14 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has 15 filed with the City council all data and information, as requir- 16 ed by law, and, 17 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has 18 recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned 19 for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public 20 convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, 21 now therefore, 22 THE CITY OF EV-ER.10T DOES 0RDAI1V : 23 bection 1 : That Baker Avenue, from 15'th St . to 24 16th St . be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, changing 25 water mains, construction of 5 ft . concrete walks and doing all 26 other work necessary to make a complete improvement according 27 to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of 28 the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby 29 adopted and approved. 30 31 -1-
