_ a <br /> ter" ti <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1.1319 <br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley <br /> between Hoyt Avenue and Rucker Avenue, from Twenty-first Street <br /> to the center of Nineteenth Street, by o niplete construction of <br /> a sewer, and necessary appurtenances, and all other work in <br /> connection therewith, in accordance with Resolution No. 2575 of <br /> the city of Everett, creating an assessment district, creating a <br /> local improvement district fund therefor, providing that payment <br /> for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property <br /> in said district by the mode of "Payment by Bonds" . <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2575 of the city of Everett, the <br /> city council of Everett has declared its intention to order the <br /> improvement of the alley between Hoyt Avenue and Rucker Avenue, <br /> from Twenty-first Street to the center of Nineteenth Street, in <br /> accordance with plans prepared by the city engineer, <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the alley between Hoyt Avenue and Rucker <br /> Avenue, from Twenty-first Street to the center of Nineteenth Street, <br /> be improved by complete construction of a sewer, and all other work <br /> in connection therewith, such improvement to bemade according to the <br /> plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the city <br /> engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including the necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by <br /> and assessed against the property included in the assessment district <br /> hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall <br /> not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense <br /> of such improvement. <br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improve- <br /> ment district to be called "Local Improvement District No. 337 ", <br /> which said district shall include the following described property, <br />
