ORDINANCE NO. :Mita <br /> An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1575 of the city of <br /> Everett, as amended by Ordinance No. 175g, relating to salaries <br /> and compensation to be paid to the several officers of the city <br /> of Everett and their assistants and employees, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> TR ' CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section g of Ordinance No. 1575 of the city <br /> of Everett as amended by Ordinance No. 1758, be, and the same is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> section g: Chief of Fire nepartment, one hundred fifty <br /> dollars per month; assistant chief of Fire Department, one hundred <br /> sixteen dollars per month; captains, ninety-eight dollars per <br /> month each; lieutenants, ninety-three dollars per month each; <br /> engineer, ninety-eight dollars per month; assistant engineers, <br /> ninety-three dollars per month each; auto drivers, for the first <br /> year of service shall receive eighty-three dollars per month each; <br /> auto drivers for the second year of service and thereafter shall <br /> receive ninety-three dollars per month each; pipe-Len, for the <br /> first year of service shall be classed as third grade pipe-men and <br /> shall receive seventy-eight dollars per month each; pipe-men for <br /> the second year of service shall be classed as second grade pipe- <br /> men and shall receive eighty-three dollars per month each; pipe-men <br /> for the third year of service and thereafter, shall be classed as <br /> first grade pipe-Len and shall receive eighty-eight dollars per <br /> month each; master mechanic, one hundred dollars per month. <br /> section 2: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> �r-- tiayor. <br /> Passed OCT 1917 <br /> Attest <br /> City Cler . <br /> Published OCT 1 1 1917 <br />
