<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Police Firing Range Renovations” <br />Project, Fund 342, Program 50, to accumulate all permitting and construction costs for the renovation <br />project in the amount of 127,000. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve Police buildings and storage <br />facilities. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett Police with a safe and improved <br />Firing Range and temperature-controlled storage unit for preserving ammunition and related <br />equipment. <br /> <br />C. The City recognizes that the Police Firing Range is in need of structural roof repairs and has <br />reached the end of its useful life and requires renovation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Police Firing Range <br />Renovations”, Fund 342, Program 50 (CIP-1). <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of construction is $127,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $127,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 50, “Police Firing <br />Range Renovations”, project. <br /> <br />A.
