<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8219 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a multiple-year sole-source <br />purchase of refurbishment and remounting services from Braun Northwest Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City chose Braun Northwest Inc. to complete refurbishment and remounting services on <br />North Star Emergency Response Vehicles throughout Everett Fire; and <br /> <br />B. Braun Northwest is the only source available to complete the services and maintain the lifetime <br />warranty on the unit's structural and operational integrity; and <br /> <br />C. As long as Braun Northwest Inc. is the sole provider of refurbishment and remounting services, <br />it is in the City’s best interest to approve the sole source purchase for multiple years rather than <br />on an annual basis. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />There is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of completing refurbishment and remounting <br />services for the Everett Fire fleet of North Star Emergency Response Vehicles; the City hereby waives <br />competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the purchase of refurbishment and remounting <br />services from Braun Equipment, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________________ <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br /> <br />Passed and approved this 8th day of October 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Council President <br /> <br />Scott G.
