a <br /> ORDINANCA NO. &' <br /> An ordinance authorizing the city council of the city of <br /> Averett to construct a public dock on the Snohomish River in the city <br /> of Averett, at or near the east end of Hewitt Avenue, fixing the cost <br /> thereof, and declaring an emergency. , <br /> THA CITY OP AVARATT DOS ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the city council of the city of Averett be <br /> and it is hereby authorized to construct a public dock on the Snohomish <br /> River in the city of Averett, at or near the east end of Hewitt Avenue, <br /> at a cost not to exceed twenty-five hundred (42500) dollars. <br /> Section 2: That said public dock shall be constructed ac- <br /> cording to the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the city <br /> engineer of the city of Averett, and now on file in the office of <br /> said city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 3: The city council of the city of Averett is hereby <br /> authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of said dock, <br /> and notice calling for said bids shall be in such form as the city <br /> council shall direct, and shall be published at least three times in <br /> the official newspaper of said city, and the time for considering such <br /> bids shall be not less than ten (10) days after the first publication <br /> of said notice. The city council may reject any or all bids, or may <br /> accept the bid which in its opinion is the best bid. <br /> Section 4: That the construction of said public dock shall <br /> be under the supervision of the commissioner of public works. <br /> Section 5: WHARLIAS, Public necessity demands that said <br /> public dock be constructed immediately, an emergency is declared to <br /> exist, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and pub- <br /> lication. / <br /> .li , 4 <br /> Passed74tr• <br /> 22- <br /> Attest ��,,`,_,, <br /> City -I-8'` <br /> CFG ` <br /> Published <br />
