Page 1 of 2 TRANSFER AGREEMENT (LIBRARY MATERIALS) Transfer of Ownership: The City of Everett/Everett Public Library (“City”) hereby conveys to the University of Washington Libraries ("UW Libraries") ownership of the following physical materials (“Materials"): Description of Materials: Collection of bound and loose newspapers, as inventoried in Appendix A. The Materials have de minimus monetary value. The City is transferring the materials because the transfer will serve the public interest, as the UW Libraries can better store, preserve and access the Materials. Copyright: The City of Everett/Everett Public Library does not own or control copyright to the Materials. Access: The UW Libraries may make the Materials publicly accessible. Such access may include reproduction of and digital or online access to the Works. Management and Disposition: The UW Libraries shall manage the Materials according to its policies and procedures. Accordingly, the UW Libraries may use its discretion in disposing of or reassigning portions of the Materials that it considers unsuited to its collections. No Compensation: UW Libraries will not compensate the City for the Materials in any way. Entire Agreement: This Transfer Agreement is the entire agreement between the City and the UW Libraries.
