• <br /> ORDINANCA NO. 165 <br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of Cedar Street <br /> from the north line of Averett Avenue to a point th.ree hundred <br /> eighty (380) feet north of the north line of Everett Avenue, by <br /> clearing and grubbing, regrading , parking, construction of concrete <br /> curbs , gutters , cement walks, complete drainage system, paving with <br /> asphalt on a suitable concrete base, grading and raking of parking <br /> strips, and doing such other work in connection therewith as may be <br /> necessary to complete said improvement, creating a local improvement <br /> district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and <br /> providing that payment for said improvement be made by special <br /> assessments on property in said district by made of "Payment by <br /> Bonds". <br /> WH RctiAS, A unanimous petition of the property-owners <br /> petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the <br /> commissioner of public works, and said commissioner found the things <br /> set forth in said petition to be true, and <br /> WHARr:A8, Said commissioner of public works has filed with <br /> the city council all data and information in regard to said improve- <br /> ment as is required by law, and <br /> WHARAAS, The commissioner of public works has recommended <br /> to the city council that such improvement petitioned for be made, <br /> and it apl-pearing to the city council that public convenience and <br /> necessity requires said improvement to be made, <br /> NOW THARAPORA, THE CITY OF EV. RLTT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Cedar Street in the city of Everett, from the <br /> north line of Everett Avenue to a point three hundred eighty (38U) <br /> feet north of the north line of r'.verett Avenue, be improved by <br /> clearing and grubbing, regrading, parking, construction of concrete <br />
