1. <br /> • <br /> ° a . r <br /> ORDINANCA NO. 1638 <br /> An ordinance emending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1473 of <br /> the city of Averett, entitled "An ordinance providing for the licens- <br /> ing and regulating of the traffic in intoxicating liquors in the <br /> city of Averett, providing penalties for the violation thereof, <br /> and repealing all ordinance in confict herewith, and declaring an <br /> emergency", and declaring an emergency. <br /> THA CITY OP . VARATT DO. S ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1473 of the city of Averett <br /> passed November 20, 1912, published November 21 , 1912, and entitled <br /> as above set forth, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 3: The license fee for retail license shall be <br /> Fifteen Hundred Dollars per year; the license fee for wholesale <br /> license shall be .fight Hundred Dollars per year; and the license <br /> fee for wholesale and retail license shall be Ninteen Hundred Fifty <br /> Dollars per year; provided, that the licenses herein provided for <br /> may be granted for a period of less than one year, but all of said <br /> licenses shall expire on the 31st day of December, 19151, and the <br /> license fee for such licenses shall be in proportion to the annual <br /> license fee as herein provided. <br /> Section 2: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> ---49-j/41‘O <br /> Passed <br /> ail 2 1915 r. <br /> AttestC <br /> City filer . <br /> Published <br /> f-EB 4 MI5 <br /> t .- <br /> ` r <br />
