ORDINANCE aTO..._ 1 f i_�C <br /> An ordinance relating to the exhibition of a subject of a <br /> hypnotist or mesmerist, or persons under the influence of hypnotism <br /> or mesmerism, in the city of iverett, providing a penalty for the <br /> violation thereof, and declaring an emergency. <br /> TitZI CITY OF i VERi TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> section 1: it shall be unlawful for any hyponist or <br /> mesmerist, or other person, to exhibit or display, or permit to be <br /> exhibited or displayed, any subject of any hypnotist or mesmerist, <br /> or any person while under the influence of or alleged influence of <br /> hypnotism or mesmerism, in any window or public place outside of <br /> the hall or theater where such hypnotist or mesmerist is giving <br /> his entertainment or exhibition. <br /> :section 2: Ary person violating any provision of this <br /> ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding <br /> one hundred ( i100.00 ) dollars or by imprisonment - not to exceed <br /> thirty (30) days , or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> section 3: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> J" o , I <br /> Passed NOV 241914 <br /> Attest f-2 <br /> (j1,,� _ <br /> City Cler . <br /> .:'ublished NOV 271914 <br /> ; - <br />
