ROLL CALL • ORDINANCi NO. l /3 An ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley between Wetmore Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue, from Hewitt Avenue to a point one hundred fifty (150) feet north of the north line of Hewitt Avenue , by grading to proper grade, paving with concrete, construction of complete drainage system, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with a majority petition of the property-owners heretofore filed with the Commissioner of Public Works , creating a local improvement district therefor and providing that the payment of said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district by the mode of "Immediate Payment". RT T DOAS ORDAIN: Section 1: That the alley between Wetmore Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue, from Hewitt Avenue to a point one hundred fifty (150) feet north of the north line of Hewitt Avenue be improved by grading to proper grade, paving with concrete, construction of com- plete drainage system, and doing such other work in connection there- with as may be necessary to complete the improvement, such improve- ment to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the City .ngineer and now on file in the office of the City Angineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses , shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereby created in accordance with law. The city of .x verett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost of such improvement. Section 3.
