ORDINANCA NO. jLoq <br /> An ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1575, <br /> passed February 24, 1913, and entitled. "An Ordinance fixing the <br /> salaries and compensation to be paid to the several officers of <br /> the city of . verett and their assistants and employees of said city, <br /> repealing Ordinances numbers 826, 1482, 1540 and 1542, and <br /> declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency. <br /> THA CITY OF AVARATT DOHS ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1575, passed <br /> February 24, 1913$ and entitled as above set forth, be, and the same <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 4: That from and after the 21st day of September, <br /> 1914, the salaries and compensation to be paid to the following <br /> named officers and assistants of the city of Averett shall be <br /> as follows: City Clerk, one hundred twenty-five dollars per month; <br /> Deputy City Clerk, eighty-three and one-third dollars per month; <br /> Stenographer, seventy-five dollars per month. <br /> Section 2: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor. <br /> Passed SEP 2 2 1914 <br /> Attest �. � <br /> City lerlf. <br /> Published SEP 2 4 1914 <br />
