No. /6 2( <br /> An ordinance amending Section 15 of Ordinance No. 1594 <br /> of the city of Averett, passed April 21, 1914, and entitled "An <br /> ordinance fixing and determining the number and designations of the <br /> various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the city of <br /> .verett,prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants, deputies <br /> and employees except where the same has been fixed by the City <br /> Charter or ordinances of the city of .verett, repealing Ordinances <br /> numbers 1429, 1430, 1442, 1483, and 1541, and declaring an emergency", <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> THA CITY OF AVARATT DO. S ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 1594 of the <br /> city of .verett, passed April 21, 1914, and entitled as above set <br /> forth, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 15: That from and after the first day of September <br /> 1914, there shall be in the Department of Public Works three (3) <br /> bridge-tenders, and one (1) scow-tender.
