<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8276 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION setting April 22, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. as the date and time to hear and determine the <br />petition for the proposed vacation of the northern portion of the alley located in Block 6A, Plat of <br />Laurel Heights lying adjacent to 1810 52nd Street SE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting the following alley have signed a <br />petition for vacation: <br /> <br />The northern portion of the alley located in Block 6A, Plat of Laurel Heights lying adjacent to <br />1810 52nd Street SE. <br /> <br />The alley is legally described as: <br /> <br />ALL OF THE ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 6A, PLAT OF LAUREL HEIGHTS, ACCORDING <br />TO THE PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED IN VOLUME 10 OF PLATS, PAGE 54, RECORDS <br />OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON; <br />EXCEPT THE SOUTH 110 FEET THEREOF, AS MEASURED ALONG THE WEST LINE OF <br />LOT 19, BLOCK 6A, IN SAID PLAT OF LAUREL HEIGHTS; <br />SITUATE IN THE COUNTY OF SNOHOMISH, STATE OF WASHINGTON. <br /> <br />B. The petition has been filed with the City Clerk. RCW 35.79.010 provides that the City Council <br />shall, by resolution, fix a time for public hearing on the petition. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public <br />hearing be set for April 22, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, <br />to hear and determine the petition for the vacation of the alleys described above. <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________________ <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 25th day of February 2026. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________________ <br />Council President
