• . , ‘ ORDINANCE NO. \\Vt)\ An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No . 296", for the improve- ment of Twenty-sixth Street from Cleveland Avenue to Walnut, Street, by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, cetonstruction of cement walks, curb and gutter, plank cross walks, drainage systes4 raking and seeding of parking strips, installation of fire hydrants, and other work in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1548, and levying an assess- ment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of bonds, and providing for the issuance of bonds. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No . 296", for the improvement of Twenty-sixth Street from Cleveland Avenue to Walnut Street, by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of c ement walks, curb and gutter, plank cross walks, drainage system, raking and seeding of parking strips, installation of fire hydrants, and other work in connection therewith, under Ordinance No . 1548 as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of ' the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the seferal assessments appearing upon said raX11 and there is hereby levied an assessment against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
