J <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. \� Q <br /> An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1232 of <br /> the city of .verett, entitled "An ordinance regulating the sale of <br /> milk and cream in the city of Averett, -5.efining certain duties of the <br /> milk inspector of said city, providing for the issuing of permits <br /> for the sale of milk and cream, providing penalties for the violation <br /> of the provisions of this ordinance, and repealing Ordinance No. 275 <br /> of said city, together with all other ordinances or parts of ordinanc- <br /> es in conflict herewith" , and amending said ordinance by adding <br /> thereto a section to be designated as Section 15, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> THA CITY OF AV. RATT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1232 of the <br /> city of Averett, entitled as above set forth, be and the same is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 3: Avery person before selling milk or cream, or <br /> offering it for sale, to any milk dealer or dairy, or in a booth, <br /> store, stand or market place in said city, shall obtain a permit from <br /> the Milk Inspector, and shall register in the office of such <br /> inspector his name and proposed place of sale. Whoever refuses or <br /> neglects to obtain such permit, or to so register, shall, upon con- <br /> viction, be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five ($25) <br /> dollars or more than one hundred ($100) dollars. <br /> Section 2: That said ordinance be and the same is hereby <br /> amended by adding thereto a section to be designated as Section 15. <br /> Said section shall read as follows: <br /> Section 15: All milk sold as pasteurized milk shall be <br /> held at a temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit for a period of not <br /> less than thir ly:minutes ; it shall then be quickly cooled and <br />
