IF <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCA NO. <br /> An ordinance prohibiting persons under the age of twenty- <br /> one years from entering or loitering in or about, or playing bill- <br /> iards or pool in any public billiard or pool room, or in saloons <br /> or places kept for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the city of <br /> Everett, providing a penalty for the violation thereof, and declaring <br /> an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF AVJRI!TT DOHS ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: It . shall be unlawful for any person under <br /> twenty-one years of age to enter or loiter in or about, or to play <br /> pool or billiards in any public pool or billiard room in the city <br /> of Averett, or to enter or loiter in or about any saloon or place <br /> kept for the sale of intoxicating liquors in said city. <br /> Section 2: Any person under the age of twenty-one years <br /> violating the provisions of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction, <br /> be punished by a fine of not to exceed $25.00. <br /> Section 3: WHARL1AS, the above ordinance is necessary in <br /> order to keep minors from entering public pool and billiard rooms, <br /> and saloons , an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance <br /> shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor. <br /> Passed DEC 30 1913 <br /> Attest <br /> yC erk. <br /> Published <br /> JAN 1 - 1914 <br /> r i <br />
