ORDINANCE NO. An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 290, for the improvement of Walnut Street from the south line of Everett Avenue to the north line of Sixteenth Street, by removal of old lumber, clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks , plank curb and gutter, plank cross walks, paving with plank, drainage system, installation of fire hydrants , raking and seeding of parking strips , and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1517 , and levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of bonds , and providing for the sale of said bonds. THE CITY OF EVER+�'TT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 290, for the improvement of Walnut Street from the south line of Everett Avenue to the north line of Sixteenth Street, by removal of old lumber, clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks, plank curb and gutter, plank cross walks , paving with plank, drainage system, installation of fire hydrants , and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1517 as the same now stands , be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots , tracts and parcels of land, or other property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each
