ORDINANCE NO. /t/ J - <br /> Afi ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley <br /> between Grand and Norton Avenues from Thirty-second Street to <br /> Thirty-third Street, by clearing, grubbing and grading, together <br /> with such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, <br /> all in accordance with a majority petition of property-owners <br /> heretofore filed with the Commissioner of Public Works, creating a <br /> local improvement district therefor, and providing that payment for <br /> said improvement be made by special assessment on the property <br /> in said district by mode of "Immediate Payment". <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the alley between Grand and Norton <br /> Avenues, from Thirty-second Street to Thirty-third Street, be <br /> improved by clearing, grubbing and grading, and doing such other <br /> work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement <br /> to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor pre- <br /> pared under the direction of the City Engineer, and on file in the <br /> office of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are <br /> hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary and incidental expenses , shall be borne by <br /> and assessed against the property included in the assessment <br /> district hereby created in accordance with law. The city of Everett <br /> shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of such improve-, <br /> ment. <br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established a local <br /> improvement district to be called "Local Improvement District No. " <br /> Said district shall include all the property in Block number 771 of <br /> the Plat of Everett, being lots numbers 1 to 32 inclusive in said <br /> block. <br /> r <br />
