ORDINANCE <br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of Twenty- <br /> sixth Street from Cleveland Avenue to Walnut Street, by clearing and <br /> grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks , curb <br /> and gutter, plank cross walks, drainage system, raking and seeding <br /> of parking strips, installation of fire hydrants, and doing such <br /> other. work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in <br /> accordance with Resolution No. 1971 of the city of Everett, creating <br /> a local improvement district, creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be <br /> made by special assessment on the property in said district by <br /> mode of "Payment by Bonds". <br /> THA CITY OP AVVR TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Twenty-sixth Street from Cleveland Avenue <br /> to Walnut Street be improved by clearing and grubbing, grading to <br /> proper grade, construction of cement walks , curb and gutter, plank <br /> cross walks , drainage system, raking and seeding of parking strips, <br /> installation of fire hydrants, and doing such other work as may be <br /> necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made <br /> according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under <br /> the direction of the city engineer and now on file in the office of <br /> the city engineer, which said plans and specifications are hereby <br /> adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by <br /> and assessed against the property included in the assessment <br /> district hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of <br /> . ver_ att shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the <br /> cost and expense of such improvement. <br />
