ORDINANCE <br /> An ordinance amending sub-section 16 of section 1 of <br /> ordinance No. 1307 of the city of Everett, entitled "An ordinance <br /> regulating the travel and traffic on the streets of the city of <br /> Everett, providing penalties for the violation thereof, and repeal- <br /> ing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith" , <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OP EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That sub-section 16 of section 1 of ordinance <br /> No. 1307 of the city of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be, <br /> and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> (16) : No person shall ride, drive or propel an automobile, <br /> autocycle or other motor vehicle, except as specified in rule 15 , <br /> at a greater rate of speed than twenty , (2,0) miles per hour <br /> along, over or through any public place “ithi:-_ the lints of the <br /> city of Everett, or to pass or cross any street intersection or <br /> around any corner within the lileits of the city of Everett at a <br /> greater rate of speed than eight (8) miles an hour when running on <br /> a down-grade or at a greater rate of speed than ten (10) miles <br /> per hour on a up-grade. <br /> Section 2: WHEREAS , it is desired to put the above <br /> regulations in effect at once, an emergency is declared to exist, <br /> and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publi- <br /> cation. <br /> Mayor. <br /> 'assed #44Y 6 • 1913 <br /> Attest L <br /> Cleric. <br /> AY - 1913 <br /> Published <br />
