<br /> tion of concrete curbs , concrete gutters, cement walks, asphalt �-
<br /> pavement, pavement header, concrete bulkhead, plank walk, construc-
<br /> tion of a complete drainage system, raking and seeding of parks
<br /> and parking strips, construction of sewer extensions with all necess-
<br /> ary appurtenances , making old work conform with the new, and doing
<br /> such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, creat-
<br /> ing a local improvement district, creating a local improvement
<br /> district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improve-
<br /> ment be made by special assessment on the property in said district „, . 1..

<br /> WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners 4,41414g,44
<br /> petitioning for the above improvement has heretofore been filed
<br /> with the Commissioner of Iublic Works, and said Commissioner found
<br /> the things set forth in said petition to be true, and.
<br /> WHEREAS , said Commissioner of public Works has filed
<br /> with the city council all data and information in regard to said
<br /> improvement, as is required by law, and
<br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioner of ''ublic Works has recommended
<br /> to the city council that said improvement petitioned for be made,
<br /> and it appearing to the council that public convenience and necessity
<br /> i ,
<br /> requires said improvement to be made,
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERT TT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Broadway from the north line of Hewitt
<br /> Avenue to the south curb line of Sixteenth Street be improved by
<br /> removal of old lumber, grading, construction of concrete curb, con-
<br /> crete gutters , cement walks, asphalt pavement, pavement header,
<br /> concrete bulkhead, plank walk, construction of a complete drainage
<br /> system, raking and seeding of parks and parking strips , construction
